Hi all. I have a 1999 BMW 735i. I am having problems with excessive crankcase pressure and was wondering if it is a common problem and how to rectify it. Thanks for any help you all can give, Andy

How's the problem manifesting itself? I guess it could be anything from a blocked breather to excessive blow-by.

Do a search for oil seperator or crank case breather valve.

Fairly easy to replace and a common failure item

Hi Chris, my car feels like its running on 7 cylinders, rather lumpy, clouds of white smoke upon start-up, oil leaking from various places. the mechanic who is looking at the car needs to know locations of breather pipes as i cannot get hold of a workshop manual
