Do I have one? 2000 Chim.
Pushed the car too hard at Donington Park last week and ended up very deep in the gravel pits. Tow truck man searched at the front, and then at the back of the car, scratched his head and then proceeded to feed the rope around the upper wishbone, not ideal but I was stopping play on the circuit...

Yep, you do, well sort of
Have a look roughly in the middle of the front cross member, there should be a bent bit of bar welded to it in a 'V' shape, thats your towing eye
The boys at Donington should have known this they are used to digging TVR's out of the gravel Where did you go off?

Definitely at the front - look way back at the chassis and you'll see the hook near the oil pressure sender.

went off after the craner curves, going uphill and then missed the racing line, braked and got into a bit of a handful and weight shifted and lost control. nothing i could do!

Mine is in the same place as described, although I think it would be next to useless as it appears to sit slightly higher above the ground than the bottom of the nosecone.. accordingly a tow wire/rope would just cut through the bottom of the nose...

could be wrong..
