PS My S1.5 measures 1017mm
Had those mirrors on my mini at one time. Couldn't see a blessed thing! Classic do sell ones that pivot on a ball which are much better, but still with much restricted visibility. I'll stick to the S3c eletric mirrors.
Pies, also include checking the condition of the stitching/screen on the hood, in your buyers guide, as both BRGS2 and I have had problems with these as new buyers.

Out of interest then, is it worth conducting a quick PH survey on which versions of these doors droop more.
It would seem, looking at the photos side by side (or top to bottom to be more exact ) that the longer door would produce more strain on the hinges, but lets be a little more scientific about it.
Right mine drop a bit - V8S = S3 bigger door.

If I'm not mistaken this is a pic of my S2 door and no, the mirrors aren't particularly effective, they came on the car when I bought it a few months ago.
Cheers.
