I have access to a POI file to navigate to access and exit points for kayaks on rivers in the UK. The file is available in various formats such as *.csv, *.gpx and *.ov2. The *.gpx file works great on my Garmin Mapsource software and Garmin etrex Legend handheld.

I'd like to also load the POI's into my Panasonic Sat Nav but the landmarks file is a *.sfs file. Does anyone here have any experience of this type of file?

I've tracked it down to a company called Navigon. I've emailed them to ask if any of the file formats provided here will work with my sat nav or if they can recommend some software that will convert your files to *.sfs format. So far they have not been either able or willing to help.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have looked - briefly - in 3 conversion programs without finding reference to this file format:
itnconv
gpsbabel
tyre

They do offer to save Navigon route files in Navigon rte format, so there is a chance that looking further would find a way to save the POI file.

Thanks for that, though I'd cracked it with the gpsbabel download but sadly not to be. I'll post on the gpsbabel technical forum to see if they can suggest anything.
