Whilst there are two side to every story, it sounds like she didn't make much of an effort to cover it up, even though she knew it was against policy to have tattoos visible at work.

My sons.(I don't see the fascination in them myself).
Like that - there's something about a tatoo of a lady with a tattoo that appeals.

Not really one for tattoos myself, and the advice of 'keep it out of the sun' to stop the colours fading feels like too much hard work for me.

Still got that fresh ink smell. smile

First bit of a full sleeve on my forearm. I'm a big fan of tradition stuff, especially sailor jerry.

Crap photos but I'm happy. Appreciate the traditional stuff isn't to everyone's tastes but I'm pleased as punch.

Just as a follow up, settling nicely. I was told to use Aquaphor, and so far it's doing way better than any previous work I've had done, having used tattoo goo, bepanthen and preparation h previously. Figured someone might find it useful as it's available in the UK.

I scab quick and heavily, and so far it's not scabbed in the slightest.

Thanks Ruskie, I'm really pleased with it, looking forward to the next session.

It's totally healed now - record time for me and it didn't scab at all. Can't recommend aquaphor enough.

Woman fired for having a tattoo (apologies for the Daily Fail link - I read it in the Times but that is behind a paywall for most):

Its this sort of thing that the current crop of cool people need to consider whilst planning to have their limbs covered in cool tats. They may want to take the next step up the ladder or change to a customer facing role only for some large corp to have a policy against tattoos no matter how well done.

Unless you're a footballer or a tattoo artist I think it would be rather stupid for anyone in their teens or early 20's to get tattoos in places that can't easily be covered up. At that age, who knows which direction your career is going to take? I'm doing something now that I didn't even know existed when I was 18.

It seems rife with the younger generation. I've never seen so many young people covered in tattoos.

I've nothing against tattoos (have a couple myself) but I really do think they may well live to regret these full sleeves that they are having done at an early age.

Another thing....perhaps the true tattoo guru's here can answer this; some of the artwork I've seen involves some very fine intricate detailing. If said youngsters are having this inked into their tight, low fat, toned limbs surely as they age and the skin inevitably stretches etc their arms are going to look a right old mess?

I can imagine a load of blurred patchy skin that at best just looks badly bruised rather than delicately inked.

I'm getting itchy again...

Thinking of speaking with Kamil and maybe starting my backpiece. Or possibly getting a leg done.

Either way it's been a couple of years and I think I've had enough of a break. I might be popping to the studio in the next week or 2 anyway so will see how I'm feeling scratchchin

I was out with a girl last night that Kamil is doing a backpiece on... Made me even worse, love what he's doing with it and how his style has progressed.

Full day on my chest yesterday. One more bit to add under skull and it's done. Black and white photo due to the redness!!
Amazing detail, and perfectly executed. However, from a distance, will it look like you're wearing a bra?
Haha no it's looks fine. Will put a colour pic up when it's healed.
Err, no, I think you'll find it looks like a bra.

I've yet to see my wife or any of the other women I've encountered wearing bras like that. Are you sure you didn't just encounter a really convincing guy with a tattooed chest?

Is that a male or female's chest?

It does look like a bra.
