I'm up for debating about tattoos but to be honest the last page has just been insulting and rude. Lesson learnt, I shall keep my tattoos to myself in future.
Don't do that mate. I for one have enjoyed seeing your progress. When I first posted pics in this, or the previous thread, I got loads of pisstaking from CVM, and others. Just one of those things on an open forum, especially when tattoos are the subject matter.Ruskie said:

No problem.
FT added some good points too, and would be in a better position than me to comment, with his Mrs being a tattooist.
I booked a 4 hour session with Kamil for mid September, planning on getting my right armpit done. I'm hurting already, just thinking about it.
This is what my friend was having work done on yesterday, and what has got me all itchy and keen for more ink again

Not taking the Mick out of the work btw
How long do they last? And when I say last, I mean last looking how they looked in the first year. Someone asked earlier but I don't think it was answered (they referred to intricate tattoos on young, fairly toned people).
When you see older people, the tattoos seem to always look blue and blurry, is this still the case with modern inks and techniques and how does anybody know?

What is it supposed to be? Mythical? Dunno, thought it looked a bit grouse-like for a start but the wings don't seem to be placed symmetrically in any case.
Might get a WD40 can tattoo, complete with red straw.
I feel confident that someone, somewhere will already have done it. We had Tony Blair with a tennis racket a few pages back, so WD40 is almost normal.Might get a WD40 can tattoo, complete with red straw.

I'd like some advice please, or maybe some ideas.
The wife and I are now 5 years past her cancer diagnosis, so all clear.
She wants some flower tattoos for her scars, I would like a guardian angel of some description. High quality black / grey type of thing.
My original idea was an angel protecting representations of our 6 birth stones, I'm not sure a shopping list of names (there are 6 of us) would dignify it, and may look more at home in poundland.
Maybe something like this - I was thinking an arm piece rather than back.
Or something bigger like this.
Whats the best way to represent the six of us? or just leave it as the Angel?
Thoughts welcome.
(very middle class, I have made a pinterest board of the styles and images I like, to show the artist, as I'm not 100% on what I want)
