I make a big distinction however for tats on hands/neck/face as I consider this poor judgement or "my body art is more important than my career with you" and for either reason I would not employ them in my industry.

Hence my curiosity for what this young lad does for a living
Likewise, I think it shows a horrible lack of judgement and the ability to think things through logically. I really need those 2 skills in a worker so if someone had tattoo's visible on their neck I'd have serious doubts as to whether they were a good fit. I'm not saying I definitely wouldn't hire them though.
Hmm interesting.

Even the Government are almost implementing policies to reduce this kind of view.

And the police are restricting recruitment of people with tattoo's. Double standards from the state

I searched that document for "tattoo" and that word isn't included once; where is the relevance ?

4 more hours today going over David & Neptune's faces again. Hopefully fill the last gap on the back of my calf in the new year.

Was reaching my limit after that amount of time. Constantly layering the same areas really got to me.

I'll put some pics up when my leg is less elephant like in proportion.

Razor usually, although the OH used her epilator on me last night... wink
Shaving your armpits on a regular basis for the sake of a tattoo - seems like a mission to me! But then I'm a fundamentally lazy (and hairy!) person.

It looks good though, I can imagine it being rather sore. smile Out of interest, with the ink over the arm pit, will it affect sweating?
Ta smile

I suppose it could be a bit of a mission, but it doesn't seem too bad. Using an epilator means it doesn't grow back as fast. So I'm told wink

It still is rather sore... By far the worst area for healing that I've had so far. Horribly painful still TBH. Shouldn't affect the sweating once healed. I've not worn any deodorant there since it was done, but then I'm washing it and applying cream every few hours...

Final piece added for new. About 20 hrs in total over about 3 years. Couldn't be happier with it.

Ye there were some pretty rough bits. When we did the piece on my ribs I took his recommendation and bought some antiseptic numbing cream. I believe they use it on children before they give them injections. It lasted for about 2 hours and enabled him to blitz the line work. Once the sensation started to come back though I think it because hypersensitive as the last half hour of that session was hell.

Today wasn't to bad because It was simply a 3 hour session. I love the guy I use because of the style of his work. He's also amazingly fast whilst maintaining detail throughout.

I don't mean to appear rude but thats not why I posted it. I posted it simply to display the artwork to those who appreciate art in this form. The reasons as to what I got, in what location and for what reason are for me alone to know.

No rudeness observed and none intended, but I just don't get it. Call me a philistine if you will, but I can't comprehend why you'd indelibly (within reason) mark yourself with any design. Your personal design is personal, of course (although it's a little weird if you choose to cover yourself in it, show it off and won't tell anyone why - I'm not saying that's what you are doing BTW), but I'd be grateful to understand why you'd go to the bother of having it done, rather than, for instance, hanging a nice painting on a wall somewhere.

Looks absolutely cracking! Although your comments about the ribs is filling me with dread!

One thing I have noticed is that most decent larger scale pieces look to have been done by one artist, with one larger design always in mind. I'm thinking of extending mine down my side/back but am still uncertain about sticking with Kamil for the next bit or going for something ultra realistic. Gut feel says changing artist/style will make it a mishmash but there's natural break in the design at the mo so I would guess it's now or never.

Anyone on here have larger scale work done by different artists/any thoughts?

I can only tell you my reason as such and in so doing please don't think I'm judging others for having there views. For me my tattoos are a depiction of events that have happened within my life. I will always be able to look at them and feel them and have a reminder of the things I have been through in my life.

My tattoos have never personal been about getting one for the sake of owning a piece of "art" I admire the talent thats required to make a good tattoo and also enjoy viewing other peoples work. The last bit is the reason I shared the photo. for the simple reason others may admire the art work not to display something that may "look cool" and for others to copy for the sake of it.

Thats also taken me a few attempts to write, started on the christmas excess already smile
