I am part of aco Brittany and we organize the 24/25 October 2009 the 1st edition of 4 hours of Le Mans History. " More precision in the weeks ahead, but do not hesitate to contact me for more questions!

As previously indicated the race will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25
October 2009 during the days "inter écuries".
The idea of convening a fifty vehicles and to revive the form
a race history, 2/3/4 Hours of Le Mans which took place from 1971 to
1979.
FIA eligible vehicle line up in December 1979.
1 or 2 per vehicle drivers
Tests on Saturday followed by a round of one-hour race with a stop
required to stand for change of driver and the same thing Sunday.

The commitment fee should be reasonable but remain a defining
(probably a maximum of 1500 Euros for the car drivers and 2)

Comme indiqué précédemment l'épreuve se déroulera le samedi 24 et le dimanche 25 octobre 2009 pendant les journées inter écuries.
L'idée de réunir une cinquantaine de véhicules et de faire revivre sous la forme d'une épreuve historique, les 2/3/4 heures du Mans qui se sont déroulées de 1971 à 1979.
Véhicule éligibles conforme FIA maxi décembre 1979.
1 ou 2 pilotes par véhicule
Essais le samedi suivi d'une manche de course d'une heure avec une arrêt obligatoire au stand pour changement de pilote et le dimanche la même chose.

Les frais d'engagement devrais être raisonnables mais restent a définir (probablement un maximum de 1500 Euros pour la voiture et 2 pilotes)

Pardon my french! If I read the post correctly, the race ran between 71-79, not the eligibility of the cars. Anyway, I've written to the OP and will post when I get more info.

Restricted to cars from 1965 to 1979, in the short track "Bugatti" !
To see this restriction was based on the number of entries in the race !

Well, that's me put in my place! My car can't qualify either Mind you, I'm not that much of a fan of the short circuit either though - too many bends and not enough straights. I run out of brakes too soon on it!
