Just toying with the idea, but I was wondering if anyone has ever had cause to replace the seats in their Cerb with the newer Tuscan ones, and knew how much it cost or if there were any issues. Also, does anybody have any ideas how much it'd cost to get one totally re-trimmed in full hide - I imagine there must be a few written off Tuscans out there with intact seats!

TIA, -J [Starting to think he should just get out and drive the car, rather than pampering it!]

"Tuscan" seats are about £1K EACH from a dealer/factory. Much better to get some out of a stuffed Tuscan or >2000 Cerbera, and try & get the right colour for your car. Depending on where you are in the country depends on who can retrim the seats. Most dealers/inid's can recomend a good trimmer, although I'm sure there are people on here who can also recomend one.

Having read my reply, I haven't helped much, but am still at work & am bored out of my mind !

Tuscan seats in a cerb that doesn't have them anyway would look silly IMHO because they also changed the design of the rear seats.

Nothing to stop you buying the whole interior of a stuffed cerb tho.

My car has back seats??

Thanks for the feedback, both of you... I'm just playing with the idea - my list of things to do on the car is dwindling so I was trying to come up with some new ideas. And I do prefer the Tuscan seats. I think finding the interior of an existing Cerb's definitely the best bet, given the price of new seats.

Why buy TVR seats - they arent that good? IMHO the older style are the best of the lot anyway (I would say that though). You are far better off putting in some really nice aftermarket jobbies - you can get anything from Carbon/Kevlar backed seats to Recaro fully electric and heated seats for well under a grand!! Infact, most of the cheaper seats out there would be an improvement in both comfort, support and weight.

When I get my Cerb the seats will be one of the first things to go.
