My 1994 325i (no air con) is struggling to clear the windscreen these days when it's misted up. The fan seems to work OK and it makes plenty of noise when switched to speed 4, but the amount of air blowing on to the windscreen is pathetic.

I often have to run with it on speed 3 constantly, which I never used to have to do so something somewhere is wrong.

Does anyone know if there is a quick and easy fix for this? I'm assuming something is blocked up (leaves etc.).

I've tried a search on here but can't see anything similar so apologies if it has been asked before, but I couldn't find it!

Thank you in advance.

Pollen filters gunged up? Under the wiper linkages from within the engine bay if you don't have aircon - certainly worth checking anyway.
