As title says, which ones had an LSD fitted as standard, I'm assuming only the higher performance ones, 325 on.

I'd say that it's easier to find it on 325 than on 328.
(I have a second 325 with LSD and out of few 328 I've had none of them had it)

And AFAIK LSD from M3 is not plug'n'play for other E36s.

The non-EVO M3 diff will fit a 325/328 if you swap the input/output flanges.( 'Tis a different ratio to a 328i manual as well )

The M3 EVO diff......big job, you need to swap the whole rear end at least

That's not a bad price considering a second hand diff will be at least half that and probably knackered.

After looking at few diffs for around £350 on Ebay I bought the whole 325 in very good nick with LSD etc for £450 smile
