Is there anyway of ajusting how the boot sits when its closed?? When mine is shut the gap at the back is much larger on the left side than the right any ideas

Yes, the brackets are held to the body with a number of bolts. You just have to figure out what effect adjusting each bolt will have. Some are adjusted by adding or removing washers, others by moving along a slot. Just get the right size socket and take it slowly - with sufficient fiddling you should get it better.

Wonder why it's not right? Taken off for a respray perhaps?
