Guys,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2438280313&category=2192

I've always loved the car and liked the 'Tornado' example. Is this them/it?????

I thought they were going strong with a GT40 too? If it's not Tornado who were this lot?

An investment for someone?

Tis indeed the Tornado M6 copy, which IMHO was never as good as the UVA version.

Tornado are up to their eyes building GT40 replicas and don't think they ever sold many M6s.

Do you get the car pictured and all the tooling if you win the auction???

I'm not really very likely to place a bid but did have a nice 5 minute daydream about setting up as a kit car manufacturer!

I know, lets all club together and form the PistonHeads Motor Company!
There's this one, Sherpley, Blackjack and Midas all up for sale, we should have a car to suit everyone

I'll take the kit off their hands, then pay them 10% of every car sold until I have paid for the business.

Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Oh yeh! For a deposit, would anyone like shares in the company?

I'm in on a co-operative PH share basis!

My Step Father has a metalwork business building all sorts of weird stuff, usually Television scenery and huge exhibition stands (motorshows etc).

So that's the jigs and chassis sorted!!!

Anyone else?

E-bay auction ended on Tuesday with no-one having bid.

Time for the PH co-operative to throw it's £12.50 offer into the ring????

Wonder if Harlequin would be interested? They're only in Gloucester (well Stroud) and have recently bought the Raffo Belva, so they might be interested in expanding further!

I did contact the guy but the offer of 3 shillings, a polo mint and a ball of twine didn't go down well.

Actually I would if I could but think it would need a collective of about 3 artisans and/or businessmen to make it work. Too much for 1 man methinks.

Well, I'm neither an artisan nor a businessman, but I'm happy to help out a bit. I could make the coffee!
