You can't go wrong with Wyn Thomas but he is the next most expensive thing to a main delaer.

My XJS had its 60k service there and it came to over 4 figures.

What he said,+ Mike Ferrari who runs the workshop is very knowledgable and helpful.

You might want to consider joining the JEC, which at just over £30 for the year, is IMHO one of the best value clubs around and is worth it just for the monthly maagazine alone.

Good call, think I'll do that.

If you do, join the Herts & Bucks region, great bunch of people.

Highly recommend them! Had an S type serviced there and traded it for an XJ. Will continue to use them to service my new diesel XJ. Very friendly, good work and way cheaper than main dealers.

Looking at Wyns prices and they seem quite good for servicing - may I ask what you had to have done to take it so high?

I'll have to dig out the receipt over the weekend. It was the service before I bought it 6 years ago. Probably what made the previous owner sell it!!

No problem recommending Wyn Thomas - That's who I use when I need WDS Diagnostics or want a second opinion. Mike his main mechanic has decades of experience on Jaguars and certainly knows his stuff.

Depending where you are in Essexshire Les Paul Jaguar (east London) are good too.

Wyn Thomas certainly are a good and trust worthy specialist Jaguar/Land Rover garage, pricey yes but very thorough. Mike is fairly knowledgeable
on the old stuff but his two senior technicians are the ones who really know their stuff. They do the bulk of the work and all of the diagnostics and are always happy to give advice and tips.
