I have just aquired this in part exchange. Its a 1987 D reg Peugeot 505 V6 Auto. One lady owner from new with a full Peugeot service history!! I cannot find anything like this for sale online. Any help and advise would be much apreciated. Its a great looking old thing!

Thanks,

Matt

Hmm 504's have some value as classics. A 505 looks very simmilar but not sure it has the same status. IIRC they are still manufactured in Africa! Pity it isnt a turbo as these are more collectible. I would stick it up for sale on www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk and see what offers you get for it.

That was my line of thought. I don't want to mug it away if it has a classic value! Classiccarsforsale does seem the best route. But i don't know where to start price wise. I cannot find another 505 for sale anywhere!

Thanks,

Matt

Practical Classics list the 505 Gti Turbo in good nick as £1500. I would be tempted to go with the same sort of money and see if anyone bites.

How many miles?

A lot of these (505s anyway) get bought up and sent over to Africa - big demand over there.

Depending on just how good it is you might get upto £1k, but you may be a while finding a buyer. There was a TD Estate (so a good hauler) up for around £700 recently, with high miles but in good nick.. struggled to find a buyer.

Post some pics, I'm just curious TBH. Rear wheel drive aren't they? shame about the auto, could be a lot of fun for not much cash.
