Invader Mk2 YCV 515J, Chassis Number IN1138

Just wondered if my old Invader is still about and well. I think the registration number has changed as Ivor Simon changed it when he bought it off me some years ago. I am Ian Brett and I owned this car for many years. If anyone can let me know how it is, if it is still in one piece, I would be glad to hear from them.

Records show your ex. Mk2 IN1138 is now reg. RRT409F and residing with Roger(Spares)since 2004.

I am a bit out of touch with GOC matters these days, I probably should have used the club forum but we got there in the end. When you say, "with Roger (spares)" does that mean he owns it and uses it, or it's for sale, or in bits? Not that I am looking to buy it back, this is just for my own interest. Regards, Ian

I can't quote for the exact condition but the car registered to Roger, as distinct from the spares operation.
He has several of the 3ltr cars and had a number of outings in his Genie last year.

Hello Ian,
your ex-mk2 is still in good working order, has been re-registered as YYD 546 some time ago. The car now resides in Cardiff & is used regularly,

If the new owner for IN1138 wants a set of nice black and silver number plates with YCV 515J on them I still have them in my garage. Never throw anything away. I am sure the Gilbern will be a good buy for someone, almost tempted myself, almost. I have another plastic car (Lotus Europa S) in my garage these days.
