Gorgeous, they do need to change the head light design now thou, its the only out dated thing on it. Heres hoping the jap litre bikes grow to 1,100+cc as well!

I would like an MV 1078 RR at some stage, when they have lost a bit more value!

In the near future no doubt but WSB has grown engine size over the years so we couldnt rule it.

The most gorgeous bike for me at the NEC show was the F4 Claudio Castiglioni special.
Also about the dearest at £74K I think....!

The 750 MV always suffered from weedy power below 7000 rpm, but by all accounts the 1078 has the lot!
187 bhp, 192 mph and grunt from 4000 rpm.
Plus looks to kill for.

This comment always surprises me. I've got a 750 and it's very fast. Yes, a 1000 would be faster but I find it hard to ride the 750 without exceeding the speed limit by enough to get me into a lot of trouble so bought a Brutale 910 to slow myself down. And the engine sounds so good why would you ride around below 7000 rpm anyway? I may well end up with a 1000 but not because the 750 is slow but just because most of us can't resist having the latest and greatest...

Agreed! My 2001 750 was dyno'd at 119 at the wheel (I know some can be very optimistic) and has never felt lacking. I never understood why mag reviews always compared it (and generally unfavourably) with the litre bikes, other than there being no direct competitor other than the GSX-R 750.

Mind you, given the choice, I'd have an F41000 in a heartbeat!!

750 still quick, just a little cammy and peaky.
Lovely bikes.
