Nice job!
I prefer that look, not heard of anyone doing it themselves though! Well done.

Phil - nice job and nice timing too, as this is my February job once I have the plenum back together. It was to be my xmas job but Flu and a delay waiting for plenum parts to be delivered ruined that plan. What did you use to cut away the old cowl? I was thinking of using a dremel with cutting discs. Any other hints or pointers would be useful - you know the usual 'if I was doing it again I would do it like this...' sort of thing.

Ta,

Ian.

Thats exactly what i used, dont forget a dust mask and goggles, open up the access hole in the wheel arch to gain better access, fine trim tape around the body so you get a nice neat sikaflex edge,
. if i think of any others i will post

You're kidding. He's got 2 foot to hack off the back end before it gets vaguely as pretty as a Griff wink

That's a really nice job. I always thought the 'add-on' headlights were the worst thing about the Chim.

Phil, lools like yopu have the same clour scheme as mine - Starmist grey with Mulberry roof. Not many of us red roofers are there?

This is a conversion I would love to do on mine but I'd like to see yours in the flesh if possible. I see you are in the Midlands as well. Whereabout are you based? Do you attend any of the PH meets or TVR meets at all?
