Local Wedge Meeting - this Sat

OK - a few people have shown an interest.

So here are the details:

Meet at 12:00 Saturday 25th Oct at the Rose & Crown on the B158 in Essendon (top of hill) - this is just south of Welwyn Garden City (near A1 / M25 J23).

All Wedges welcome - and other TVR's.... !

It's just a local meeting to meet the other owners in the area and also to have a blat along one of the best roads in the area.

I've not pre-arranged this with the pub - so we might
have to buy a lemomade to keep em happy...

It should giving you all the excuse for not going out
with the other half Christmas shopping !

Not exactly a local, but if you don't mind an outofregion joining you, would like to meet some other wedge owners.

I will aim for 12.00 but will have to split by about 2pm as I'm listed by HQ for decorating

Good to meet up with you all - It was fantastic to hear all the wedges arriving -- Cirks, still can't belive the noise yours made coming into the pub carpark -- Great trip back - The smell of rubber & mobil 1 & the sight of 4 wedges in front of me

A good meeting today. Its a real shame winter is upon us now as i think we could be onto something with a wedge meet. Still theres always the spring to look forward to. I second what Patrick said, the sight and sound of three other wedges roaring along in front of me on the way home was AWESOME!!

What a great mini event but a hugh gathering for wedges (4 * 400SE & 1 SEAC) ...

It was great being there early and hearing most of you arrive ... nice to meet you all, nice to know we have so many Wedges locally.

Bit of a shame the B158 had so much traffic on it .. still the blat across Hertford Heath made up for it...
really nice to see and hear so many Wedges behind me.

Great pictures... wish my camera was working..

I'm sure we can meet up soon again.

Rev-erend, DP, Wedgie & Sarah, Cirks and Patrick, really good to meet you all on Sat, nice cars all of you, but the blat back was just fantastic. This was my first convoy of any,I reckon Dp must have had the best position these wedges look so from the ar*e end the sight of three in front must have been just complete heaven!

Having seen your horn wedgie, definately got to make mine bigger!
Look forward to when we can do again, maybe towards Hemel?? Anyway thanks Rev for organising

Was good meeting you all. Sorry I couldn't stay around longer but not too surprisingly the new addition to the family needed some of my time too!

I might have the flashiest engine and bonnet but everyone elses car puts mine to shame when looking at the exterior and, particuarly interior, condition! :-(

Can't see that I'll be allowed to make the Kent meeting but am up for another local rendevouz at some point. How about Hertford Heath or at least the November Herts TVRCC meeting - a load of Wedges might just liven it up a bit ;-)
