Never heard of them, matey, but they look nice enough! Do you get any kind of guarantee with them or return if not satisfied with the quality?

So does this mean you've bought the R1? (If it's already been mentioned forgive me for being slow!)

Chilli found this on their website:

BEWARE OUR REAR SET KITS AND OTHERS ARE BEING ILLEGALLY COPIED AND SHIPPED TO THE UK FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD. THE SPECIFICATION OF THE MATERIAL USED IN THESE CHEAP COPIES IS NOWHERE NEAR AEROSPACE QUALITY, THESE UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD RESULT FROM SUCH A VITAL COMPONENT FAILING. THEY WILL SELL ANYTHING TO MAKE A FAST BUCK. THEY ALSO OMIT TO TELL YOU THAT BY BUYING FROM THEM YOU WILL BE CHARGED BY H.M. CUSTOMS & EXCISE 17.5% VAT PLUS THE IMPORT DUTY, ON TOP OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE.

Have you thought about getting your standard ones powdercoated black? Would be much cheaper.

but would still not be adjustable.

I know plenty of people using the cheap taiwan rearsets and have had no bother.

I've heard good things about the diamond ones too though I forget who from, could well be biker's nemesis.

Yep, R1 is in the garage!

I just want adjustable ones....in black. Thought that these would look nice. There are some Gilles ones on ebay for £200, but these ones I can get for £145.

200 for Gilles is a bargain, mine where a fair bit more than that.smile

I've got their rearsets and GP chain adjusters, both seem very well made and were bought on the back of recommendations smile

I paid just shy of 300 for Gilles, which was a lot less than I was expecting. I was after some other ones as I couldn't see them being 100 quid better than the others, but at that price it'd be rude not to.

What, go for the gilles ones?

Sorry I just realised how poorly that read.

I avoided gilles at first because of the cost, by chance I found some for 100 quid less than I'd seen them elsewhere which is why I got them. But now I've got them I'd say they're worth every penny of the RRP imo smile

and yes, go for Gilles.

They take your uncomfortable sports bike and make it less comfortable tongue out

(but more ground clearance at the track).
