A while ago I posted about 1 and 2 piece suits, the actual 2 piece I was after has now gone out of stock but the 1 piece is still available.
Can someone give me the downsides of a 1 piece apart from the obvious pain in the arse getting in and out of on a daily basis (which i would put up with).
I will be getting a sports 600 so the cut would be correct, it's not as if i'm riding a moped (although i'm sure it's been done, lol).

Feel free to abuse my stupidity, i enjoy the pain biggrin

You have no choice but to look like a power ranger all of the time.

Must be damn hot, like in the summer you cant just roll into town with a set of draggers on and the leather jacket off your 2 piece

I have both and although I prefer the one piece, the two piece is really handy if you stop for a pub lunch in the summer or go to a bike race etc, being able to take the jacket off is much better than walking around with a one-piece round your waist.

Problematic if you need to lay cable.

Got a 2 piece with full zip up.
It's practical & it becomes a 1 piece when you zip it up!

yes +1

Only exception I can see is for constant track use-then I wouldn't want anything else but 1 piece.

I have both, but won't buy a 1 piece again....don't really see that point. A nice 2 piece is the way forward!

Absolutely - going for a crap in a public toilet is a nightmare in one. Taking most of it off, but wanting to keep your boots on and not let it touch the skanky floor...

And there's the danger of curling one out into the arse of your suit!

Basically i thinkt he consensus will probably be that if your a racer or regular track dayer a 1 piece is the best thing.
If your a road rider a 2 piece for flexibility.!

With your unique style of riding, I imagine that's an everyday possibility.

I have both. Since I brought the 2-piece suit have not worn the 1 piece.

1 piece is great if you are on the bike all day or Track day. if you are stopping at pub/cafe/bog en-route then 2 piece rules.

I have a thermal Gortex 1 piece for winter, a leather 2 piece for milder conditions, and a textile/mesh 2 piece for when it's hot.
Plus a thin waterproof over jacket and trousers stowed under the seat.

I have a 40 minute ride to work everyday, I have to change into overalls when i get to work so the changing makes no odds and i'm not a one for going on a weekend blast - the money that the 1 piece is going for makes sense to get me started, when i'm a bit more flush i may opt for a nice 2 piece but with things being tight it seems too good an opportunity to miss.
The general consensus is that it's more of a pain in the ar5e from a practicality point of view - i've never been a practicality kind of person anyway - i look like a power ranger in my kart suit anyway hehe
