Hi All,

I have a small problem with my 330d in that the handbrake is not engaging on one side. Does anyone know how the rear disc is held on to access the handbrake mechanism? On my old E30 it was just a small allen screw, but I just wanted to be forewarned before I take a look!

Cheers,
James

I believe E46 rear disks are the same as E36 6 cylinder models: to adjust the handbrake you don't need to remove the disk, just line up one of the wheel bolt holes and turn the toothed wheel inside - quite a clever system.
