Maybe because it is suspiciously cheap, and so probably an absolute nail?

ETA - it's also slightly odd in that it doesn't have the M3 mesh in the front bumper, rather it has the 328i slats. Wonder why...

Does look a bit sus... They're worth more than that surely?
Especially the way the advert is written... excellent condition etc..

The old Exhange & Mart language plus pics taken near a leafy park would put me off

Checked it out on the DVLA website and it looks like a genuine m3. Maybe the guy's name has something to do with it not selling.

Looks quite nice and clean in the pics, anyone done an HPI on it? Thought it was a bit odd the ad states that is has a full 'M3 pack'.....

I wouldn't go near that personally.
At that price you wonder if it's cat listed or the engine/vanos if fked.
Then there's the non M3 front bumper.

It's a saloon with 130k on it.

In my experience high mileage cars just don't sell, regardless of condition...

????

That is about it's money.

That is an M3 bumper but without bottom splitter.

One in the ad . .

M3 front bumper . .

328 sport front bumper . .

The bumper on that M3 doesn't look right to me. Is it one of the M-Tech ones fitted to the lesser 'sport' models ?

Either way that and the price are enough to make me want to ask questions if I were a buyer.

It's an M-Tech bumper with 328 slats and no Evo lip. Would suggest that it has had a ding at some point and the wrong thing put back on.

Even if that's not true, it being wrong is enough to make me suspicious.

But, it could well be an absolute bargain.

Saloon + 130k miles = Low price... But that's very low, especially for a manual. Suspicious front bumper = Something the seller isn't mentioning in the description which potential buyers are subsequently finding out about and walking away. Hence car is cheap and noone is buying.
