just don't do it. learn from my experience. no matter how bad it gets, no matter how unreliable, how expensive, how frustrating.. just don't do it.

I did. I reached the threshold of cost, frustration and the need for change. I thought I would be sensible and by a 996 C4 - I was happy to be boring for a while. Bullit proof depreciation and german reliability coupled with devastating grip and modest performance...

Or so I thought.

On Saturday (you know who you are) I was absolutely taken apart by a gorgeous blue cerbera with sports exhaust. Not only was it just as quick through the twisty bits but on the straights it was so much faster it was, frankly, embarrassing.. and to rub salt into my gaping wound of regret, it sounded absolutely fantastic.

All I can say, matey, is try that again when I'm in the caterham, sunshine. Meanwhile.. keep the faith.

An inspiring post. We all have our periods of doubt. Episodes like this remind us all what a remarkable vehicle we own.

But it isnt me who will decide to sell my car - it will be her indoors pressures. And the pressures are gaining!

You can't sell it Gazza, we only need a tegsie for the full scouser cerb set...lol You can only imagine the pressure I am under after my first fortnight of Cerb ownership, specially when the apple of her eye was locked in the bloody thing for half an hour this morning

On the other hand, its raining this morning. Hands up who has little V shaped wet patches at the bottom of the trouser legs (from the soaking wet carpet). Not me.. he he.

Oh yeah, and I could see out of the windscreen, because the demist actually works!

nah, don't do it Gazzab. The mere fact that I am still posting on this site says it all.

in the purported words of arnie.. I'll be back.
