E39 M5 - BMW Warranty

Hey Guys

Can someone shed some light on what happens with renewing the warranty on E39 M5's.

Is this on the original warranty terms i.e. no excess and covers everything or are all renewals moved over to the new scheme.

Anyone know the answer to this one?
