Always had paddock stands for my bikes but the swing arm is a different shape on the 06 r6 and the stand from my 2005 r6 does not fit.

so...i have fitted bobbins to the rear swing arm. where can i buy a stand for a decent price that fits the bobbins?

Is it time for me to say "Do you want an ABBA stand, REALLY?" or do you need them for another purpose? smile

I ordered the ABBA kit for my TT600, one of the sides didn't fit, I emailed them and said "is this a known problem with some TTs" and they said "Yes, we'll send you a different fitment, it'll be in the post".

And it arrived the next day, for free. They are brilliant.

Another vote for Abba stands: I have one for the Duke and am so impressed I bought another for GSXR at the NEC. Yes, I could have just bought the adaptors, but I like to store both bikes on the stands, hence why I have two. Much better than a standard paddock stand IMHO.

And yet another vote for the ABBA stands. I also have the unit that raises the front up. It’s great for working on the front wheel/forks/brakes as it goes under the engine/exhaust pipes and is this totally clear of the front wheel. The only down side is that, as it lifts the front via the exhaust, and it has a rubber ‘non-slip’ cover to avoid marking, you can’t run the engine while the front is off the ground as it will melt the rubber cover.

Harris - they don't bend or deform under load and the bobbin cups are all steel.
