Hi all, Just got a 1MB NTL broadline installed at my house at uni and we are running a wireless networks. I've managed to get the 3 machines running XP working and able to view the internet but not the Win98 machine (Working on it as I type).

I can't seem to get the machines to see each other as a network/workgroup. What do I need to do??

The wireless hub is connected directly to the NTL cable modem and then each PC has a wireless card.

Cheers in advance.

Make sure that both

Client For Microsoft Networks
- and -
File and Print Sharing For Microsoft Networks

...is loaded on the '98 machine. Also, make sure that all of the workgroups match...

In W98, go to Control Panel > Network.

Click the 'Identification' tab, enter a unique name for your machine, and set the Workgroup field to the name of your network. This should be the same on all machines.

Repeat this for each machine (procedure for XP may be different), then reboot them all.
