I get the message "This function is not yet supported for your navigation device or operating system". But I've been using it for months.

I have reinstalled TOM TOM home, updated, connected, reconnected a few times etc.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't know what it is Warben, my only advice is to try their website.

If that fails give their helpline a call. It actually is a 'help'line and usually they are generally very good. hehe

Thats only my experience of dealing with them at Hellfrauds.

Don't call them now though, they're not open.

Just telling you this now so you don't try it. I know with you're old age things slip your mind occasionally.

If you're still not sorted it's the latest version of TomTom Home causing the problem. See if you can get an older version while they fix it

Because of this helpful topic I have rejected my unit's application software upgrade to 8.301, which apparently stops the 'Operate my device from the PC' function from working.

If anyone finds out that the problem has been solved by a newer release either of the unit software or of TT Home please will they post here? Many thanks.

Just been onto Tom Tom home and the option to use the device via the computer is now restored.

Can't quite see why because the only up-dates were the "Quick GPS Fix", which I get everytime I go on Tom Tom Home and some map corrections. No mention of a new firmware version or up-grade to the current.

Anyway, it's all back to normal.
