Tom Tom Classic and post codes

How come I can't put in WV10? it gives choices of several WV100 and no option to select a space to continue with WV10, yet if I type in the address it comes up with the post code?

You don't put spaces in - just take the whole thing. e.g. WV102TT rather than WV10 2TT
