Phone has slipped under seat (Mkiv golf)

My phone was sitting in the ash tray of my golf (MKIV). Unfortunately, my phone is nowhere to be seen. It seems as if my phone has slipped under the seat. Underneath the seat, there are all sorts of brackets and cables so I can't acess the area. Is there any way I could get better access to this area? I can't seem to see any other place my phone could have slipped into.

I had this in my gf's Golf, sounds silly but have you tried the backseat. Mine did go under the seat once but this was solved with some very heavy breaking (checking behind first of course )
