Folks, my PC has been the victim of a bit of Internet Browser piracy, and some sort of bug/virus/programme has infected my Internet Explorer 6 and changed the homepage to http://cool-homepage.com/ and greyed out the section in Internet Options that allows you to adjust the homepage - so I can't change it back!

I have tried Spybot - Search and Destroy, and also tried reinstalling IE6, but nothing worked. It's still there!

Also, not sure if this is connected, but I can't now run my Norton AntiVirus 2002 software as the app starts but then immediately closes ( after about 1 second).

HELP.

Try booting from the anti-virus CD and doing a scan.

Thanks squirrelz, I needed this too as the bug simply reappeared after initially using the start page guard program.

Top Link Smeagol......thanks very much.
I too had porn hijacking my browser start-up, add/ remove programs did not work, but this one did the trick.
Also reminded me to make PH my homepage, so a double bonus this time round!
