E46 Smoke from electric window adjuster

sorry i meand Mirror Adjuster.....

Any ideas guys blows fuses as also creaets a small buf of smoke when replaced, how easy is it to remove the unit from the drivers door?

Was working until tuesday?


Any one had this before?

Please help
