Just a heads up to let the good people of the South Coast know that next Friday/Saturday (27th/28th February) is the annual Bournemouth Rally, sponsored by Sunseeker. I hope to have my camera back by then, unlikely but it would be nice!

Always a good day out more details Here

In some ways Friday night is the best bit, then again nothing beats getting out in the forest thumbup

Definately down in the town on Friday evening and out on the Somerley stages on Saturday. In the past we've chased the stages around but the costs of both passes required are now just getting stupid for what is essentially a local BARC event.

Good to see the 6R4's will be back out in force again.

Obviously Bournemouth gardens is Simple enough just get there early the good stuff normally happens near pier approach! I quite often do the Wareham forest stage on the saturday afternoon some great picture opportunities and its not too far to walk if you don't want to pay wink

Luke you're from the Castle Lane area aren't you? The scrutineering takes place at the Littledown centre on the Friday morning, which is a good place to get some picture aswell!

Friday night's well worth it Luke; if it's like the last time I went, the cars all line up down Exeter Crescent, then blast through the gardens towards the pier, & hang a left towards Boscombe - Escorts/Scoobies/Evos/6R4s even - if my brain's not mushed after another week at the funny farm I'll be there with at least one of the nippers.smile

I work on Holdenhurst road and live in Southbourne, and might head down for a quick peek either after work or later on - depending on the time it's running.
Always good for a bit of atmosphere at Bournemouth Pier, but boscombe pier is better if you want to be able to get closer as they come off the stage.
