can some body please advise me on what grade of mbile one oil to use on a 1993 4.0l chim

If you can find it, go for the nice gloopy thick 15/50 4T/Motorsport grades. If not, the nasty watery 0/40 regular stuff will do I suppose. (Less important on the smaller engines because they do at least come with pistons that fit, and proper oil control rings.)

We use 76 Pure Synthetic in all our TVR services and our racing cars. It really makes a noticeable difference and costs about the same as Mobil 1.
Just to add to my last post - this only applies to engines that have been run in and done at least 12000 miles. It is not good to use pure synthetic on new engines because it doesn't allow the piston rings to settle down and bed in (in other words the oil is too good).
