Anyone have any details on the various K-series clutch options? Just the clutch arm, release bearing and cable/hydraulics?

I notice some owners have an external slave and hydraulics and some have a cable.

Long story short, my Triumph Spitfire with VVC K engine is using a Burton Concentric Co-Axial Clutch slave, the bearing has gone after just 20mins and 5mins driving. Pissed off I am not wanting to redesign the system. I don't want a cable as my car is setup for hydraulics...Ive no interest in reusing this piece of junk that Burton have sold me! Having the same issue.

Rattles and screams when no depressed, quiet with mild pressure and sounds rough as hell when you depress the clutch. I know the Burton bearing is a Saab...I'd rather revert back to the release arm and ford bearing...I can fab all this up with a an Austin Mini slave but I'd like info on the caterham hydraulic upgrade they show in the parts section of their website...

I spend 1500hrs doing an engine swap, it all goes perfectly, bar one of the ONLY products I brought and didn't make myself. I have to remove the engine! bd!

I have a caterham bellhousing here too, using a Titan atm, so I am interested in how the hydraulic slave fits in/how...Anyone got any images...There is so little info on Caterhams doing the rounds on Yahoo and Google etc.

Appreciate your time.

To be a complete pain the bottom, anyone got a measurement from the gearbox mount face to the engine mount face on a caterham bellhousing? Ive yet to recieve mine. Ie; the length of the bellhousing front to back?

My bellhousing is 159mm. I know Titan do two bells, 178mm and 159mm.

Is the Caterham 159mm? or near or made to suit the long input shaft.

FWIW I've never seen a hydraulic clutch on that set upp but I can't inagime it would be too tricky to set one up
