Hi everyone, i had to smash my rear passenger quarter window last night as i managed to lock my keys and 1 year old in my car. Does anyone know how much these are as i can't find a price online anywhere . I'm based in hull by the way.

Probably more than if you called out the AA or RAC to do it for you, basic joining fee if you're not already a member.

Why did you smash the window, did you try to call the RAC or AA out to see if they could "break into" your car, they do have a magic box of tricks you know. It might have only cost you the basic joining fee.

Or maybe you are already a member through your insurance company and you didn't realise it.

What i said earlier, (watch my lips) It might have been cheaper to call them out than the cost of a smashed the window.

I aren't a member through insurance, plus didnt have my phone with me. I couldnt really leave my daughter sat in the car whilst i went to try find somebody either so decided best option was to shatter the smallest window to open the door, which didnt work but luckily was able to get a small boy to help me out, he had to be threaded through the tiny window and give me the keys back. So just need to buy the small glass and rubbers and fit it in.
