Northern Viper Run - 4th July 2009

We meet Saturday on the Nott’s Derby’s border take a leisurely 60/80 mile drive into the peak (avoiding as many tractors as we can) looking for the tight twisty stuff with some great scenery (not up to German standards) but as good as we get in the UK
We then stop for a nice lunch break a few drinks then it’s off again into the hills for a few more miles.
We usually get about 140/150 miles total before we get to a hotel where we meet in the bar have a beer and swap cow & sheep pat stories (A Baz)

Sunday is a drive across country to The M&C to enjoy Bruce and Alison’s hospitality before we depart our separate ways.

Last couple of times we have done an on route pub quiz with a top quality prize for the winners (last year’s winners Team Netski) walked away with the trophy and the booby prize was awarded to team R&D who despite there AA recovery valiantly stayed with us to the end.

I know that this is called the NVR but I would like to throw the doors open to other owners that hang with the Viper club.

So if you’re looking for some great miles great food great hotels but most of all great friends then get your name down.
