Hi,
I need a new rad after finding out the donor one I got was holed. I saw what I need at the Donington show on Martini's stand. Do they only operate at shows or do they run as a regular business that I can contact?

Cheers,
Rich

What's the Donor?

ie. What Rad do you need?

Is your rad brass or aluminium?

If it's brass you can probably just get the core replaced.

The rad is out of a '95 2l DOHC Scorpio, manual (without integrated oil cooler).

It looks like it has already been reconditioned once. Halfords wanted about £150 for one!

Martini were only charging about £20 for a new one so I thought I'd give them a shot first...

Anyone have their details then?

I know Robin Hood list a couple of radiators in their locost parts. They are around £35-£60 (from memory) and I seem to remember one is a Cortina copy and the other a Sierra.

You could give 'em a try: info@robinhoodsportscars.co.uk

Unfortunately the Sierra rad is very similar but the mounting points are different and I have already welded up a frame for the Scorpio mounts...

Looks like I've managed to repair this one anyway, and found readyrads in Birmingham that do them for £85 +VAT
