Spotted ROB**** - Red R8 going through Cardiff tunnel

Gave it a couple of blips going through - it sounded lovely, shame I was in the Zafira and not my Monaro with full Wortec Exhaust, otherwise there would have been some heavenly tunes eminating from that tunnel!

As a fellow PH'er, I had the pleasure of hearing an Audi R8 at WOT, (sorry, FULL THROTTLE) and though it would be nice to compliment the driver if he is on this site, for his good taste and "enthusiasm" for his vehicle.

If you don't care about others opinions, posts and views on life, then why bother reading them?

Only trying to compliment an Audi owner (and to be fair I've not had that many opportunities)

i know what you are on about and i bet the R8 sounded fantastic. I went to Cardiff Uni and going through that tunnel was one of the highlights of the trip... i once wanted to see if is possible to go through the tunnel fast enough that you dont lose radio reception, it can be done but i dont think i should say how fast i was going

Haha I find if I switch to Radio 1, it doesn't lose reception at all.

And yeah I bet that R8 sounded rather nice. Imagine what the V10 version will sound like! If ever anyone is lucky enough to find themselves in a tunnel with one of those, or a Gallardo, let us know :P
