Do all 400se's rub against the front arch liners on full lock?

Mine does, but only on Left hand lock!

Yes - I beleive they do.

Mine all have done this !

Count the rubber 'spacers' that separate the body from the chassis at each side. On my 390SE there are a different number and the body does not line up true along the chassis - Streaky

Mine don't and its lower than normal. I think? Set up by a previous owner so not sure what has been done.

mine did apparently but previous owner put 205's on the front and that cured it

mine don't and there 245 all round,guess it depends on each car

and it failed its MOT because of it !!

On what grounds? My Jeep has done this (on standard tyres) for the past four MOTs and never been failed once!

Are you sure that that's right. IIRC your car had 255 on the rear ten years ago; or was that an alteration from the original?

The bloke i bought it off told me 245 and he got it off Bill,be nice to know if it did have 255

My 245 rears run the passenger wheel arch. No rubing on the drivers side. I bought some suspension stiffeners for caravaners and put them into my springs to give the car a little more stiffness
