Right, I've been rather bored at work recently so I had a look for a new registration for the 205 and found this:

J19 GTJ - I think it would resemble J 1.9 GTI

I'll leave it to my brothers (and sisters) of the SCPH to give me their views as to whether this would actually look as cool as I reckon it would on the 205...

Views please people!!!

The only problem I can see is the 'J' on a registration plate is quite defined so its not too like an I, but I think this is best left to the Guru....
Oh Guru step amongst the mere mortals and enlighten up with your wisdom... bowbowbow
Diablo Pete you know thats you, don't you?

I often thought about a private plate myself. However, for a few quid more than the price of a private plate I could have a remap or various other upgrades for the motor, so I decided against it in the end. Still no remap yet though frown

Some fool planted the idea of building a 2.0ltr 8v Turbo 205 in my head over the weekend so i've called in all my allocated funds (no wife now so really easy to do) in the search of a 406 SRIT/XM VSXT Donor car, DP Manifold, Forged Low Comp Pistons, T28 ect... so private plate is now well and truly off the radar of things to do until i've built the second 205 (By which point we'll have run out of gas and oil so it'll be a pointless exercise...)

If you buy it direct from the DVLA, the price you see is the price you pay, including VAT and transfer fee. The only extra outlay you would have is to physically have the plates made up.
