X3 Sunroof

Hi guys,

My Wife's X3 has a bust sunroof. Put it into the local BMW garage for repair and they tell me it needs a whole new roof.

The diagnosed broken runners but say I need to replace the whole roof - glass also.........

Any thoughts?

Sadly it is a very common with the full length sunroof on the X3. Depending on the age, miles and service history BMW will probably contribute towards the bill if the car is out of warranty.
