Will a bmw offer affect the dealer disc. on a new 3 series
Discussion
According to BMW's site, BMW are offering a 'complementary' upgrade from SE to M Sport on their Coupes.
If you use BMW Select finance they are offering £2000 towards the deposit.
Thus effectively there is £4500 of 'incentive' in total there.
As both these are manufacturers offers, i take it the dealers will still be able to discount the cars? (usually 8-10% from memory)
I've previously been able to get a decent discount when they've been running the deposit contribution offer, but not the upgrade one?
Has anyone any 'actual' experience of this?

Are you sure that the finance offer is still on? When I was looking earlier this year it appeared that the BMW Offers were quarterly and applied to the delivery date (NOT order date). So if the Q1 £2000 deposit contribution is not running in Q2 it could be that it's been replaced by the model upgrade.
You may be lucky and get them both though.
As for the dealer discount, I got a discount on top of the BMW offer.

Yes, both seem to expire this tuesday, but they did run concurrently.
I guess i will wait to see what wednesday brings - hopefully the same ongoing offers.
I've previously got discount and the finance deal, but i guess the grey area is around the 'upgrade'.
Theoretically it makes the 320d M Sport Coupe cheaper than the saloon...
