SatNav wobbles

My BMW 135i is a month old and has the latest Prof SatNav, which usually works faultlessly. But twice today it got super-confused in central London. At one point it was tracking me at least 250m behind my true position in Mayfair, and in the wrong direction, and then it had me down as apparently driving through the middle of Claridges, which I obviously wasn't or you'd probably have seen me being arrested on the evening news!
Is this normal or should I be concerned? I'm not used to SatNavs doing this - my Tom-Tom 930 that I use in the other cars has never done anything like this.
