Estate Agents - again!

just got through the spec of this place

either it must look really st on the outside or they really feel that the wendy house is a key feature.....

LOL - nice wendy house!!!

I went to view a semi-detached house on Saturday. House was nice but the neighbours house was a sthole! Dirty old mondeo outside with a sainsburys carrier bag over the back light, bottles of beer in carrier bags thrown in the front garden and out the back was an outbuilding with a blanket for a door and the garden was in a general state with dirty dog bowls. Also, the blanket/curtain at the front window of the house was closed (at 11am) and didn't look very nice. In the picture of the property we were given, the curtains were still closed. I know people like a lie in but I reckon that blanket/curtain stays that way.

Anyway, it put us off the property and I gave this feedback to the estate agents.

They came back with

"Just for info I have passed on the feedback and was informed by XXXXX the family that live next door are a type of family that 'live the good life' they recycle everything, grow their own veg and make do where they can apparently he is a graffic designer and she works as well XXXXX believes at a college?"

I never saw Tom and Barbara's house looking as rough as this one!

Wendy House? Surely that should read "detached staff quarters included"....????

I'd be pissed if this was how they marketed my gaff. Talk about lack of effort in a time when every effort should be made!
