Fuel economy ... again
Discussion
Up until now I've been getting 15-17 MPG around town on my 4.5 Chim (with 26 MPG on a long motorway run once).
Suddenly, for this last tank, it seems to have dropped to about 10 MPG which seems a very big difference from usual.
OK, I've maybe sat in a few more traffic jams than usual but would you expect that much of a drop? Is it possible/likely there's another problem?
... I know cars seem to vary a lot but that seems to be car/driver-to-car/driver not tank-to-tank if you get my meaning!

15-17 around town and 26 on motorway runs ????
The pedal on the right is the one you want !
Justin, I've got the same problem ('98 400). Was getting roughly 200ish miles to the tank until recently when I changed my job and now work just three miles from home. I figured that this short run every day and the colder weather have knackered my mpg. I'm now getting about 140 miles to a tank - probably 10mpg's, I've not had the courage to work it out myself.
