K-series cat urgently needed

Because of the new MSA regs, I'm having to run a cat on my race car this year.

The car had the 4-1 race exhaust with no provision for a cat so, mainly for convenience, I decided to go with the factory R400 exhaust with the cat in the collector.

At the time of ordering (about 2 months ago), Caterham had no cat collectors in stock and said there would be a 6-8 week wait.

No problem, a deal was done for a non-cat collector, the plan was to use that to get the car up and running and replace it with the cat when it came in.

Just chased it up, apparently they haven't even done the deal with the manufacturer to get them made yet so I am now looking at 'months'.

Great. If I'd known that at the time....

So, has anyone got a K-series R400 cat/collector sitting in the garage (or on their car) they they'd be interested in selling or part ex-ing for a non cat one?

I'm already missing the first race this weekend, there'll be tears if I miss any more

If you're anywhere near Reading I have one you could borrow. It's a silencer including cat type thing that I had adapted to fit onto a Caterham 4 into 1 sports exhaust system?

I have a old cat from my 21 whhich could make to fit maybe!
Best would be for you ta have a look at it, if you not too far from either Abingdon, Uxbridge or St Albans.

They've had a 'race-only' item in stock all along which is all I needed, the back order is on the road legal version.

Yep.

I'm playing by the rules so I'm covered if I race elsewhere and they do check properly but the whole thing is a farce IMO.
