....depreciate?

Between this year and last, I've noticed no difference in price of the Mk1's.

I take it you could probably buy one this year, and condition being equal, sell it again for the same next year?

I'd imagine good examples will begin to appreciate soon, good original examples are becoming collectors items.

ETA: Forgot to actually answer your question. No they suffer very little depreciation, especially the tattier examples because they are worth feck all to start with.

A nice example will be easier to sell but you run the risk of losing some money if you let it get tatty or damage it.

I lost 300 quid in depreciation in 2.5 years of ownership. Not too bad.

But then, I spend stloads on it in the meantime hehe
