Next question - Is there someone with VAGcom suitable for 4F Audi Avant who could help me out with a bit of reprogramming, in return for a beer token or two? Sheffield/S. Yorks would be ideal!

What do you mean by re-programing? I have VAG-COM but it's an old version and I mainly use it for checking fault codes and resetting service lights etc.

Hi Andy - apparently to get the LED lights to work you have to enable them in a sub-menu. I'm very confused about all the various VAGcom leads etc. but according to the RossTech site i need one of the expensive HEX-Canbus or something leads to get into my cars diagnostics - and I'm not paying twice the price of the lights for it!

Having spoken to a few people about this you need to do it within the long coding, older or shareware versions will not allow you to do this.
