I know there may be new caps manufactured at some point - but at the moment this is of little consolation if your seal is leaking and it fails the MOT.

You may recall a little while ago someone figured out that it was the same filler cap as a Sunbean Rapier - well the Sunbeam Rapier owners club have sourced some seals - full ordering details are posted in useful links.
These are available for the bargain price of £3.50 including postage.

Glen Mason from the SROC has agreed to manage this - he did offer to let us have some but I said I thought it was better if all the stock was kept in one location.

I can't figure out if it is a risk or not to post their paypal email account address on here.
What do you think?

In the meantime Mark / Kevin I will PM you the info.

I've had an email back from Glen Mason of the Sunbeam Rapier Owners Club - he is OK with the paypal address being displayed on the forum.

Paypal payments should be sent to sroc.fastback.spares@hemscott.net

If you wish to contact Glen directly please call 01225 777771

He has asked that I remove his address which I have done.
This info is also now in useful links.

Got mine today, slightly thinner than original but fits slot easily and seals well due to sprung nature of cap centre. At this price its well worth getting one if yours is looking even slightly suspect.

Just ordered one - the original is starting to look a bit old.

Just received. Its almost the same as the sealing rings for the petrol tank sender units from Landrover but they are approx. 3mm bigger diameter.
